Electrical inspection & testing

Fixed Wire testing, PIR, EICR, Five Yearly Certification

Think of a fixed wire test (EICR) as an MOT on your electrical installation. It alerts you to any potential hazards in the electrical installation such as defective DIY work, electrical fire hazards, lack of earthing and bonding and future problems that could arise. We can provide an in depth report detailing the condition of your electrical installation. Reports are produced on NAPIT Approved Contractor forms to meet with the most stringent of clients / insurance companies. The report will establish if the installation is Satisfactory or if further work is needed. We carry out work on Commercial premises including domestic housing for the rental market owned by Landlords

Defects are listed as follows.

C1 - Danger Present - Risk of injury. Immediate remedial action required.
C2 - Potentially dangerous - Urgent remedial action required
C3 - Improvement recommended

Fire Risk Assessment East Midlands,Fire Safety Training Nottinghamshire, First Aid Training Nottinghamshire

This replaces the former 4 code system (1,2,3,4). Does not meet BS7671:2008 as been withdrawn.

Should you wish we can provide a quotation for the remedial work. You are under no obligation to use the same contractor for the EICR and the remedial work as all qualified electricians will be able to work from the recommendations on the certificate.
